They are saying that the people that just watched can't be charged, but isn't watching it and not doing anything about it a crime?  Something has to be said about watching some 15 year old girl get raped over a 2 hour period. At that fucking point you are not a bystander but and accessory to the crime.

I think anyone who watched it should be charged and the same with their parents.
Oh, rape schmape!

 9 out of 10 bitches LIE about being raped. I work in an ER and I can't even begin to talk about how many bitchez come in with claims of rape only to be interrogated by police and investigators and physicians concluding that they are making a story up.

 I may even go as far as to say that women getting raped is about as common as people getting struck by lightning. It happens but very very very rare.

agree with Block here, men are falsely accused of rape all the time, and once its done its done. Even if the girl recants her story the guys life is ruined. Same with false accusations of child abuse, children lie and coupled with over zealous prosecuters  you're screwed.

THere is a climate of male bashing in the last 20 yrs and its time for men to start sticking together against false accusations. It could be you next time. It only takes one to ruin your life.

.... was this just after you wrote them a traffic ticket for being a "non-english speaking driver"?

VA had one where the woman was pulled over and didn't understand anything, she was charged with resisting arrest and driving on suspended. She was found not guilty, I believe on both charges, her attorney had stated that the officer should have had a spanish speaking officer or interpreter provided, because she  because the lady didn't understand and she was a Latina....Now, common sense would dictate that on doesn't drive nor try to make a living in a country where one doesn't know the native language spoken.

As far as the rape, if a person was raped for 2 hrs and there are witnesses who do jack...they are cowards

I was told that one time in a county holding cell a dude was being raped by a dude, and he screamed "help he's raping me!", there were four dudes in each corner of the large holding cell, scared of the perp.

this happened in richmond, one of the worst cities in CA.  these kids are fucked from day one because they never have a dad around, all have the minority mentality, and their parents are all fucked up on drugs and don't care about them.  not hard to see why it happened here and not in eugene, oregon.

It seems like they ran a train a her. Sad. And that chick, if it wasn't agreed upon probably will not emotionally or mentally recover.

I remember one time in college, I was walking towards campus and I heard several dudes talking, one guy said, "Yeah, he's getting her to come over, and we'll run a train her", I continued to walk on, I saw this fine as hell female and a dude talking to her. I thought i should wait around and tell her what was gonna go down. But then I decided not to, because she might have already known about it, might have agreed to it, or saw me as a cock blocka and wouldn't believe me. Never knew what happened.

most of you guys are overlooking the obvious implications of what you want implemented. The bystander law in this country in general protects ppl from having a duty to help with a few exceptions.

If you force ppl to help and in turn they are injured while helping they would be able to sue the person they were trying to help. This is why we are not forced to help ppl now I agree that these fucktards should have at the very least called the cops or alerted someone to the situation but you cant force ppl to help without consequences.

"Most speakers blamed the rape at least in part on degrading, dehumanizing societal attitudes toward women."

"Women are portrayed on TV and in music as pieces of meat," she said. "When are we going to take the challenge and step up and change this?"

 ::)

Please. As if rape hasn't been happening since the beginning of time lol... and right now we're in this big bullshit feminist movement... women have more power then they've ever had so stfu.
