2.  Began a manhattan project and huge effort on domestic energy production;

5.  Taken soldiers from outposts where nothing happens overseas and place them on the border.
 

Our reliance on foreign energy is a disgrace.  We have enough oil and oil shale and coal and other resources to tell the Saudi's to go to hell.
