I've seen it spelled both ways in newspapers, also I was not disprespecting the marine corps, infact I hope all troops come home safe and sound to their families, I was just referring to the fact that the mujahedeen are a good fighting force who don't have the money and technology that the marines do and yet managed to kick the russians out of Afghanistan   and are cureently giving the US a run for their money, just an observation so no need to meltdown over it.

Good point, but you probably know what happened in Hidifa, Iraq where the marines went kind of crazy and ignored the rules of engagement, also in vietnam when whole villages were napalmed or in WW2 when Germany and England was carpet bombed.  Point is not every soldier always follows the rules.  And in a war each side thinks they are right.
