True Story
« on: November 20, 2009, 09:52:41 PM »
I was at prejudging at Nationals, and I was watching all the classes it was a good show.During prejudging I seen the owner of BSN Chris Ferguson in the audience.I said hello, he is a nice guy.I have alto of respect for the man.He started BSN I heard from nothing and made it into this multi-million dollar machine.
Anyways after the super heavy call outs. I noticed Chris walked right over to Hany Rambod....I am wondering what was said.
Trey didn't make first or second call outs in his class.
I know Trey went from Daniel Stuckard, to Johny Stewart, to Ropeman, and finally to Hany....
Do you think Chris gave lol Hany a little talk about WTF happened.
We paid you to have Trey win, and he didn't even make 2nd call outs.
I walked over to Bob Chic and said hello during there conversation to try to over hear what they were saying.
It didn't look like he was real happy.
Wouldnt you be.....You put all this money and marketing into this guy who wins a local show, then gets his ass kicked on a National stage.
Last year he got 4th, which was a gift, this year he used Hany, and didn't even make 2nd callout.
I feel bad for Trey, he is a nice guy, but he is only 24.He needs to take 2-5 years, and train. He needs to stay out of magazine adds, and just train.
He got killed this year at Nationals, I mean killed.
He wasnt even close to the top 5.Maybe he showed up to the wrong show.
Maybe there was a local show he actually wanted to attend, but went to the wrong venue.,lol.I dont know.It looks like the Phenom, phlopped, lol

Ok, you seem like a nice guy from your prior work here at GetBig, but some of your recent posts indicate you're clearly in meltdown mode right now, so I'm going to help you out here.  My recommendation is to stay away from the forum for at least 3-5 days.

It's one thing to wonder about what's being said in a conversation that doesn't involve you, but it's quite another to attempt to eavesdrop on conversations that don't involve you, and then it's really crazy for you to advertise that that's what you were doing.

You're obviously envious of Trey's commercial success, which is reasonable.  Lots of people are jealous of the attention he gets.  You're bodybuilders, you want the limelight.  Bodybuilders aren't normal, but the type of jealousy you're experiencing *is* normal for bodybuilders.  The fact that he's got print ads appearing at 24 already makes him more relevant than 90% of the currently-registered pros.  He's likely to continue to train, but as long as the money and fame (at least in this industry) are there for him right now, he should take both while they're available, because when he's 40, that ship will have sailed.

He won't turn pro this weekend and neither will BSA, but check the conversations after the Nationals and I bet there will be more talk about those two guys than half of the guys who *do* earn their pro cards.

This guy is always airing very private info. And he's not even anonymous here.  :D

But it's entertaining, so let's not discourage him.

I don't know about you but I think the story I stated was funny as hell.
Here is a company who calls this guy the Phenom and pumps him up.
Then the guy goes through 3 gurus, in the last year, and gets worst every outing.
Then the owner walks up to Hany, who is very cocky, and talks to him right after his athlete took a nose dive.
I think that is funny as shi$# if you ask me.
BSN made Trey Brewer look like he was the next Ronnie Coleman.
The only thing that bother me about Trey Brewer, is there is a 100 other athletes out there who look better, and don't get a dime or an ounce of exposure.Trey is a nice guy, and he is only 24, but there are guys Like Abbas
Katammi, Cedric, and other athlete who don't have a 100k contract, or get 10% of the exposure.
I was talking to Abbas about this.Even Abbas, was like wheres my contract and wheres all my exposure..
He would beat Trey any day of the week.
As far as stepping on stage against Trey, I actually was thinking of coming out of Retirement, after I seen Steve Kuclo and Trey Brewer last night.
I could have easily beaten both of then

Let's not exaggerate please.

Put up some pics of yourself at your peak, something like a front double bi and and a back shot, rear lat spread or whatever. Let's see if you have the potential to "easily beat" these two guys.

But better yet, why not just do it. I say go for it.  :)
