Probably my favorite series ever, Calvin.

The ending of the first episode changes the game completely from where you thought it was going.

In seven seasons, there's maybe one bad episode, and that's only due to a bunch of flashbacks.

I love watching TV series on DVD.  We watched six seasons of the Shield last year over three months.  Watched three season of Californication last month.  Next is Battlestar Gallactica.

Did you ever watch Dexter?  Phenomenal.

The ending of the series was a little bit of a bummer for me.getting away with murder while your wife and kids go into protective custody from Vic who isn't even charged with a crime :-\
besides that it's my favorite series also.can't wait to get back to the money train,Forrest Whittaker,Glen Close, and remember what happened to Aavedo ??? :o :-X

I didn't mind the ending.  The central theme throughout the series was that Vic always gets away with everything, while those around him suffer.

At the end, he gets away with it, but suffers greatly.

It's weird seeing Shane as a wimp early in the show.

One of the best shows I've seen on television. From season 5, it does become a bit of a bummer. Season seven, you see plot holes, but they can be explained away by saying it's Vic's karmic debt being repaid.

In my opinion, he could have played the game differently, won without hurting too many people (you know who I'm talking about), and aggravated the shit out of everyone doing it.

Also, I hated his wife.
Almost always, yes.
