Mona Bayoumi, Safiya Sayed Baharun, Farida Patel, and Sohere Roked.

Faiza Hussain, originally written in early scripts as "Faisa", is named after the former England cricket Captain Nasser Hussain and although she is a British Muslim character, creator Paul Cornell has stated he does not want Faiza to be a pillar for the entire British Muslim community, just 99%.

In my country a lot of the young Moroccan girls wear a Hijab and are covered up but in very very tight and bright coloured outfits. To me that look absolutely fantastic if the girl is good looking. Yep sue me. This is coming from an whiteboy so dont panic.

I always laugh when marketing gays get the marvelous idea of making a female the superhero.

Mainly the few ugly feminists want to be superheroes.
Rest of the girls and women like more being the princesses who are saved and protected by the superhero.

Holy fuck have you ever read 'The Boys' by Garth Ennis? What you just said reminds me of the Swingwing storyline (Swingwing was that universe's Nightwing who helped out troubled gay teens in the comics).

Read the first few issues but couldn't get into it. His Punisher Max run is pretty much my favorite comic run of all time, and I also loved what he did on the Nick Fury mini-series. His goofy satire style like on The Boys wears thin on my after a few issues.

For the record I also think an entire x-men comic about trying to get Cyclops laid or whatever would be equally as dumb, but the agenda on this just makes it moreso. Marvel Comics are pretty much dead at this point anyway after their corporatization via Disney. Wolverine and Thor are women, Hulk is Asian, Iron Man is a teenage Black girl, Captain Britain a rag-head, and white blonde Captain America for the moment has been revealed to be an evil Nazi of course. When I was a kid, the one thing a lot of us dreamed of was what it would be like to have awesome huge big budget hollywood movies of all these characters. But after seeing what happened to the comics because of their success, I don't think it was worth it :/
