Does artificial sweetener cause bloating?

No sugar in any of my drinks anymore.. all of it is artificial or I drink water.  I've noticed along with my diet I'm not so 'regular' anymore and it sucks.  I heard today that art. sweetener causes bloating and am hearing differing opinions on this.  What does getbig say?

   Potentially not your artificial sweetener in your case, although sugar ALCOHOLS are notorious for that, but they're not usually found in drinks.  Splenda, aspertame, etc. generally have 'other' reported 'issues'   There's probably another reason for your ummm problems    What's your diet look like?  Are you getting lots of vegs, whole grains and high fiber fruits along with good fats?

here are two versions of the diet im on.. drinks throughout the day are either water or a sugar/calorie free fruit water.
