Also when we are talking about frequency the only thing to really consider is protein as each type of protein has different responces in the body, i.e slow digesting vs fast digesting, to most optimally effect protein synthesis and breakdown etc
there have been recent discussion/studies that have called into question the frequency of protein digestion due to protein oxidation i.e. layne nortons
carbs/fats are energy substrates - calories are all that matter here. frequency does not matter.
