Jobless claims drop for the 16th straight week.
« on: December 24, 2009, 10:37:41 AM »
Claims lowest that they have been in a year, since the other guy was president.

Many ppl's unemployment has run out.  IMO, 6 months is too long anyway.  Most people don't even start looking for a job until their free $ has run out.

I'm just repeating what weekly claims listing was on NBC news just now.  i haven't watched the news in forever.

Our entire economy is based on one thing: Confidence.  Even if it's delusional, I'm afraid.

More smoke and mirrors and 240 smoking obamas pole  ::)

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20091224/ap_on_bi_go_ec_fi/us_economy

The Labor Department cautioned that seasonal employment from holidays and other variables in the calendar made last week a difficult one to seasonally adjust. The actual number of new claims was higher than the previous week, though fewer than expected. The process of adjusting for seasonal variation reduced the number.

seasonal employment added alot of temporary jobs to the market thus taking some ppl off unemployment and like it was said some had their benefits run out.

Also "that figure does not include millions of people who have used up the 26 weeks of benefits typically provided by states and are now receiving extended benefits for up to 73 additional weeks, paid for by the federal government."

again more of the same from this administration BULLLLLL SHHHIITTTTT

and more of the same from 240 obama pole smoking, you should try to get an olympic event made out of that 240 although you will have some stiff competition what with the Nobel prize committee and all  ;)

Bob Chapman said on one of his previous shows that disaster will strike in January in regard to UE numbers. He is forecasting 800,000 in January an or February. He said the number are being fudged up now, because they don't want people to panic too much and stop shopping all together. So when January or February comes around and they present the REAL numbers I think americas eyes will bulge out of the sockets.

This is one of the reasons they are rushing health care.  Once TSHF, no one will have time or the wherewithall to even think about health care.
