Is this split ok, or do I need to take more time off?

Also should cardio be done on leg day?  It would have to be done before lifting, which is usually not done.

Throw in a rest day between days 2-3.

You can do cardio after a leg workout. After every leg workout i do about 20 mins or so on the bike (low intensity). Legs feel great the next day, helps get rid of any lactic acid build up and the legs just feel a lot frsher the next day (minimal DOMS).
No doubt about it...

Sorry I hate the bike, and I can barely walk after training legs.

That's kinda my point. Even if you can barely walk afterwards, pick out a piece of cardio equipment and use it for about 15-20 mins. Low intensity, basically just moving your legs around. You will see the benefit of doing it as over the next few days, doms will be minimal and the days of walking around like a retard after a leg workout will be over.

oh, and stretching obviously helps a lot too.
No doubt about it...

Mass and cuts.

And thanks Webcake, I will give it a shot, but I will likely have to do some form or seated cardio (though I don't like) or hold on to the treadmill.   :-* (no homo)

Yeah, recumbent bike is probably the best as you are seated and just spinning your legs around.
No doubt about it...

Throw in another rest day between 2 and 3 as stated earlier and I like to incline the treadmill high as it can go and walk about a 2.5 speed for about 20 minutes after legs, just enough cardio and feels likes it finishes off the quads without overtraining them.

add an am and pm, quit your job and find a fine "gentleman" to support your drug habits.

it's better not to do cardio on leg day and if you HAVE to do (which i cant see a reason for) just do it with low intensity AFTER your legs workout..
