First I log on and then go do something for 20 minutes while getbig loads.  I then choose something to reply on and hit post and go do something else for 20 minutes waiting for it to post.  It's awesome, like trying to use the internet with 1989 technology.

I thought it was just my computer. This site has become so sloooow lately. It seems problems started maybe a few weeks ago. Very slow and quote function not always working. And when did PMs and replies time out?

I was starting to think the same thing...WTF is going on !?!  I go to a large backbone site like cnet or download.com and get dload speeds of over 2meg's/s , then I try to refresh the threads at getbig...and 15 minutes later still waiting..
