Why won't they let the public in to see the healthcare meetings?

This whole healthcare fiasco is supposed to be for the public. Yet we aren't allowed to see what's going on in these meetings. Does anyone else not see the hilarity in this?

Now why is that? Is it because these meetings consist of nothing more than a bunch of people proposing what bribes they're going to give to the others?

Because if we saw how this bill was really crafted and just how horrific it is, bullets would fly.
