When Hank Wood ruled.
« on: January 24, 2010, 01:58:52 AM »
Before he went crazy I thought Hank Wood was one of the most incisive, penetrating and articulate posters. His penchant for exposing modern bodybuilding for the travesty it has become was brilliant. He left me with the impression that he truly cared about the sport, the direction it was taking and how things were back in the Arnold days and through the 1980's and mid 1990s. He seemed genuinely pained on how some treated bodybuilding like a circus devoid of all dignity, class and even decently.

Before he allowed his bitterness to consume him this is one of his more poignant offerings that made me a brief fan. A truly enduring classic in my mind.

I, too, enjoyed the posting of Hank Wood which, further, showed that all that glitters isn't always gold

this is where i would post something like "i pour a 40 in memory of my long gone brother Hank Wood" but, seriously, why should i post something like that.  That's totally Amateur and I'm a motherfucking pro at this Intraweb forum posting game.  I'm like Marco Ruas in his prime- that is if Marco Ruas used relaxer, became a anorexic and became addicted to manscaping

Hank was funny in the beginning, but then the novelty wore off and he became very bitter, sounding like a broken record and re-wording the same garbage over and over.

He posts as Barium meal now. And his Heiko thread is still a classic.

Hank Wood was/is just a jealous Aussie loser. Didn't train hard, looked like shit, very jealous as a result. Lot of jealously in the world, especially this country. Hence his name assosiated with Luke Wood.

I have read who Messiah thinks Hank Wood's serious handle is and i think he's right. So he's still posting here under that regulary, guess he'll be back.

He was good value for awhile but it got spooky when he turned up to Lee Priest's dad's funeral uninvited.

Hank had a good run but he really seemed to be fueled by nothing but anger at the end.
I do hope he comes back one day though, with the humor.
