Nope, he never got one. He could never dry out when the big day came. He had stiff competition, and a far superiorly dried Titus beat him. After that, He and Titus engaged in a war of words via Flex. Titus called him names and said he was always soft at a show, which is why he hever got his Pro card. Better shape than Titus, but not better conditioning---shape means nothing if you can't bring the cuts.
He seemed to have that "thick skin" like Vic Richards, John Sherman.

He was like 5'6, 5'7 I believe, but he was a freaking tank. Just couldn't dry out and peak at the right time.

Edgar was a great physique waiting to be a great pro but he couldn't show up hard enough to win his pro card.

He is the greatest example of the fact that you HAVE to be in shape to win!

That's what everyone at the time said, was that he could never get into top shape.

I wish someone would post up a thread with all of these guys from back then. I'd love to see what they look like today. There are a few out there, but not the ones I would be interested in seeing.

Another guy someone forgot, and not too many people heard of, Beau Matlock. He had a cover on Flex back in like 94-95. He and Chris Cormier were in army fatigues training...well he was spotting Chris.

beau matlock was on a major roll 91-93 won all major local,jr and usa placing's,one of diamond gym boys lots and lts of top pro's there in 90's ,lots of heresay on what happened to him.great bber shawn ray and flex type hybird.
