Whether people want to admit it or not, there really is something special about the Nazi period that can easily be romanticized. Most WWII movies that are coming out these days are about Nazi germany and a majority of war-geeks out there find nazi combat/engineering the most fascinating etc. Hitler's rise to power and destruction will always be something extraordinary.
