  You are kidding, right? His only strength are submissions and he is shittier at them than Nogueira who Fedor crushed twice, so I don't see him submitting Fedor. Fedor has the edge in striking, KO power wrestling etc. When it comes to submissions, he might be a match for Fedor, but Fedor has already defeated a guy twice who was even better at them than Werdum, so I can't see Fedor getting caught in an armbar or choke hold. Fedor by either KO or choke hold, and if neither doesen't happen he wins by brutal ground and pound.

Suck, you got me thinking about the first Nog-Fedor fight so I went back and watched it.

I agree with you now on the first bout that Nog was dominated but not crushed (means two different things in my book)

  Werdum is an outstanding technical submitter, easily one of the top three out there. His victories over Aleksander Emelianenko, Gonzaga, Brendon Vera were all impressive. My point, however, is that Fedor is a better striker with a lot more KO power, has better wrestling skills and ground and pound skills. I just cannot envision him submitting Fedor since a fifth degree black belt in jiu-jitsu failed to accomplish this twice.

  Fedor would have knocked out Nogueira if Nogueira weren't so good at taking the fights to the ground. The problem is that, once on the ground, Nogueira's skills in jiu-jitsu were only able to stop Fedor from submitting him, and he got destroyed by the most amazing ground and pound ever seen in any fight. If the opponent is too technical on the ground and Fedor can't submit him, he will simply ground and pound the guy to a decision. You can't win with Fedor. If you're a fantastic striker with great KO power, Fedor will take you to the ground and submit you. If you are a great grappler, he will KO you or dominate you on the ground with ground and pound.

Cmon dude no way.  Either Silva gets a lucky submission and stops Fedor to win the match cold, or he gets beat up and KO'd or TKO'd.

Silva doesn't have anywhere near the chin that Noguerra does. Two or three bombs from the top while holding fedor in his guard will stop the match immediately.

  No, he would probably KO Lesnar given how shitty Brock's standup is, or ground and pound him. I think Brock's wrestling and strength is too much for anyone to submit him including Fedor. This is just my opinion.
