Rich Gaspari, one of great best posers

Timeless 80s classics.  Gaspari was very contemporary.

And the music he used in the 91 Mr O?   What was THAT??   Actually   he came to LA to guest pose at the JR USA in 92....he posed to THE UNFORGIVEN  choreographed it well, to this day  I think him when I hear the song.

whats up with everyone thinking that just because soebody competed pre-2000 and posed to something other than r&b or rap...that they are automatically a good poser.

gaspari is tucking away and hiding(like how arnold said most small guys do), he isnt aligned with his music, he isnt hitting the poses as best as he could.

i didnt see any of this what you speak of. He posed well and did a good job. Aligned well, didnt go overboard with the transitions, made sensible transitions...all flowed. Not the best posing ever, but certainly decent and far better than the majority of BB today.

If someone can find the posing routine Labrada did at the '89 Olympia, that was fantastic. Also, the routines that Haney did in '85 and '91 were also great. Gaspari did a great routine at the '86 Pro World too.

He was a good poser , awesome conditioning guy was always hard as nails

Thats right ND his condationing back in the 1980s was outstanding he done exceptionally well with the genetics he was given.

I remember he guest posed at the JR USA in 92 one of his last years competing.  It was one of the best choreographed  guest posing routines I ever seen. He posed to THE UNFOGIVEN and I always think of him when I hear the song.  I remember a reporter  criticising his condition but I it was great to have a legend guest posing in LA.
