hey, like some handsome and brilliant people suspected, Obama would go lib-crazy in 2009 then try to sell a populist image in 2010 for elections.

Then in 2011 and 12 we'll see it again.

I dunno dude... obama is at 51% approval today.

After a year of nonsotp lib stuff.

Now, give him a year of populist moves.  Where does that number go?

Seriously, please please don't get all complacent... "We have this thing won baby!  We can run barney the dinosaur and win!"

You underestimate obama cause you hate to think he's smart or politically shrewd.  He is both.

No, I know that unless he does a 180 on his agenda he is done.  He wont, and he is.

The stock market is going back down, UE is stuck at 10% and being played w by the govt.  Local govts are falling apart despite the stim bill, HCR is doa, Crap & Tax is doa.

Barry is still playing games w the KSM trial fiasco.

Pelosi and Reid are wildly unpopular.

Obama is at 44% BTW not 51% and n November the rabid conservatives will all be coming out.  Julio, Peggy, Henrrietta and the rest of the hope and changers wont even know there is an election.

'Obama is at 44% BTW not 51%"

Where do you get this info?

I use gallup, which has been tracking presidents for 30+ years.  It is easy to see Clinton was at 49% after 1 year.  Reagan was 52% by Gallup too, I believe.  They won re-election.  Anything can happen.

You can use rasmussen, but eh....

drudge hurt the $$ buck a lot with the 'arab states to drop dollar' headline.  Everyone I know went out and bought a grand or two worth of foreign $ that week.

Then it turned out to be some UK newspaper quoting some blog, entirely untrue.

Little things like that are irresponsible.  I also think of the "great rice shortage of 2007"... when a few BJs and Costo's limited their sale.  Sure enough, people all went out to their local BJs and bought them out.  Self-fulfilling prophesy.

I used to read drudge daily before all other sites.  However I no longer do - they get people scared and riled up for no other reason than the fact ppl will fwd the link to their friends to "Get on drudge-- Now!".
