Grant, thanks for posting that! I enjoyed it.
Some friends of mine recently returned from a trip to Africa. I don't know what area, but they stayed in a hotel in a tree with a watering hole beneath it where all the animals came to have a drink after a long and hot day searching for a decent meal.
Another group of very wealthy friends from England went on an extended safari camping at a different location each night in elaborate air conditioned tents. One even praised those "tents" and meals in the field as finer than some of the better high class hotels in Europe. They got big bucks.
Have you ever heard of either of the above?
How many Cape Town locals actually take a safari vacation? Have you ever been a guest in an authentic African village community? Do the lions ever attack people?
Dunb questions but I've never been there and only "know" Africa based on those old Tarzan movies, but I did go to school with George Tubman whom you might have read about in your history books while attending school.
Did you ever meet Reg or Jon-Jon Park?
Thanks, Grant.
Are there actually any jungles in Africa similar to those seen in old Tarzan movies?
