Maybe someone else saw this and posted it-- if so I apologize.
I was doing cardio at the gym and I noticed a new Nike commercial playing on the big screen. In it, Rampage appears to be Ko'd-- then he jumps off the canvas and ko's the other guy. There are also runners, football players and a rowing team in the commercial as well.
If it was Rampage, is he the first MMA fighter to become a household name in terms of endorsements? Sure we have seen Lidell and Coture in movies and TV shows and stuff, but were they ever made part of a billion dollar corporate empire?
I do not recall anyone else in the fight world (outside of boxers) ever being under a brand as prestigious as Nike. I wonder how much $$$ he pulled in.
