Mandatory busing for schools in your area?
« on: March 05, 2010, 09:20:12 AM »
I'm curious where you guys live if this is the case.  Here in my county they have been busing kids out of their area for about 10 yrs as a way to combat "segregation" as the supporters, put it.  Now, a newly elected school board has decided to end the practice and have "neighborhood schools."
I can understand the frustration parents have if they live in an area with a sub-standard school, but how about addressing that school and improving it?  People at the board meetings always talk about the "child from a bad neighborhood getting the opportunity to attend a better school" but nobody mentions the "child from a decent neighborhood being sent to a bad neighborhoods school."

To me the whole argument is idiotic and just a way for white liberals to "feel good about themselves for helping the poor minorities."  While in reality, the ENTIRE community could be better served by improving under-performing schools.

It's a heated topic right now and just wanted your guys thoughts.

It completely destroyed the City on Yonkers where I live.  Do a little research on this.

It was very divisive and pit the working class white ethinc italians and irish against the blacks in the city and we have been a mess ever since.

Of course liberal commie jews and their fellow traveling communist blacks were pushing this mess.  And what happened?  White flight from the school system, kids getting transported all over the place, taxes getting raised massively to fund this crap, neighborhood schools going to pt, etc.

I swear, you guys need only to have lived in my shoes to understand where I am coming from seeing the crap I have seen.

See, that is what I thought.  Most people I talk to from other parts of the country say "yeah, we tried that 10 yrs ago, if failed miserably, so we moved on."  Yet some of the board is still supporting it.  Thankfully, they are the voting minority now and it will be changed.  The whole thing is a circus already.

And what if you paid a shit load in taxes only to have your kid bussed to the ghetto in the name of "racial justice" allo n the order of some liberal jew judge living on a compound in another county?

This was the 1980's and was when I formed my belief system seeing what liberal communists do and the ends they we wills eek to impose their sick perverted dreams of "fairness".

Liberals are communists, but two steps removed.  Every last one of them, just that not all of them know it.

its the governments way to keep us pitted against each other using the race card,  sad thing is many people buy into it
