That's a early scene from 'Bring me the Head of Alfredo Garcia' showing Robert Webber and Gig Young. It is low budget, but it has Sam Pekinpah directing, so don't turn your noses up at it. Definitely worth a watch.

Only you would know that, Dr. Chimps. Even I who knows most everything did not know that that was a scene from that movie.

But I checked it out and found out that it was the 4th movie role from Kris Kristofferson who also made the following films back then around that time....

The Sailor Who Fell from Grace with the Sea (1976) .... Hated it.
Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore (1974) .... Hated it.
Bring Me the Head of Alfredo Garcia (1974) .... Never saw it.
Blume in Love (1973) .... Never saw it.
Pat Garrett & Billy the Kid (1973) .... Billy The Kid. Saw it but forgot all about it soon thereafter.
Cisco Pike (1972) .... Saw it but forgot all about it.
The Last Movie (1971) Never saw it.

I guess I'm not a Kristofferson fan but we did have the opportunity to see the Highwaymen as Johnny Cash's special guests and sat up front, but didn't like it too much cause I hate to watch singers sing for some unknown reason.

Great movie!!! I saw it as a kid and just recently found it and downloaded it, Bob Dylan wrote the soundtrack including the hit 'Knockin on Heavens Door'

Although I prefer the Billy the Kid portrayal in Young Guns 2 better..

I heard that. I was in 8th grade when those tapes came out. Knockin' was on Mtv 24/7, the live video. I can still hear that entire live song in my head. i actually went out and learned the pentatonic scales after hearing it.
