Im not starting a boxer vs MMA fighter discussion.  My main point is in what other professional sports organization could have a 'guy off the street' come in and challenge a top tier athlete.  I say this with no love for Tim...it's just a question.  If Mariusz walks through a former UFC heavy weight champ, doesn't it diminish the sport of MMA?

I'm american. I'm pretty sure this is just a gimmick trying to fish out people that don't know any better. Either that or he's just a dumbass to the tenth power. I have a hard time understand how boring someones life must be to be going on bodybuildign websites on a side account to have senseless arguments about mma. Arguments you made up that you know aren't true. Or you're just an ass. Just saying boxing requires more skill when boxing is an aspect of MMA is retarded.

Because boxing is a pure sport....MMA is a mixed bag where everyone is kinda good at a few things,no one is GREAT at anything...and there are basically no rules. That's why a guy like Pudz can be near the top of the game with a few months training. He is not facing  world class athletes who are the very best at what they do. he would get lit up like a christmas tree if he stepped in the ring with a decent pro heavyweight.

For all of the talk about "boxing being dead"  The Manny/Mayweather fight was going to be the biggest PPV ever and put 50 mil each in their pockets....every MMA purse EVER doesn't add up to that

Well some are Jiu jitsu masters which is more than great. Alot of guys come from being pro boxers. Many are Champion wrestlers. Mariusz hasn't proven anything really he fought a guy who has no proffesional fights except for his loss to Mariusz. I enjoy boxing and have all the respect in the world for it, but MMA is so much more demanding. I really think to be a top guy in MMA you have to be so much more skilled. Look at what Lyoto Machida does in the cage. It's ridiculous. Dominick Cruz put on a pretty impressive performance in his recent fight too.

Boxing has been around for a long time and what you see is it's top form. MMA is relatively young and the best of the best isn't the best it can be quite yet. Guys like Machida who have taken all the aspects and combined them into a great form are atill rare in MMA.

Let's not get crazy here.

to be fair, Pudz has been training in martial arts for over 20 years and is a purple belt in Karate. He is not as inexperienced as some people like to believe.

Here we go...again.
Under boxing rules the boxer will win.
Under MMA rules, or no rules...the boxer will DIE.

sure pal.  tell that to tim sylvia (2x ufc heavyweight champ) getting ko'd in 9 seconds by a 49 year old former boxing champ in an mma fight.
I dont like twinks.

A 300+ pound out shape Tym Sylvia.
He is already in the career death spiral.

Lets make it simple, a fight between Fedor and your favorite boxer... past or present.
 No rules=real fight. everything goes.

 What would happen?

Why most boxing fans hate MMA? well!!...they know MMA RULES. ;D

You can FF to 2:58 and listen what Renzo has to say about no rules.

Martial arts has been around WAY longer then boxing (organized) people were studying Karate and Kung Fu 2,000 years ago...

and as far as Lesnar, swede take his cock out of your mouth, he's in a hospital bed, while his title is making it's way to Carwin

Not in the way it is now. Martial arts have basically been studied in basic forms such as karate, and kung fu, judo... The closest it has come to the way it is now in mma was wing chun if i'm not mistaken. Never before have people brought together fighting systems the way they are now. Just look at the difference between fighting styles in ufc 1 and now. Todays fighting is a very young thing.

marius's boxing technic is weak, but nobody in this world can place an armlock on marius.

I'm only 250lbs, training mostly on squat dead bench and basic with no technic for fightong and not even the half of the strenght of marius but believe even a 220 jui jistsu fighter can put me an arm lock, a boxer can destroy mer but a judoka or a jui jistsu can't.

Yeah, the ref, who he obviously isn't going to try to counter or fight back against once he realizes who it is.

I see Pudz having a hard time with anyone that has a long reach that can pump the jab

Mike Tyson had no problem with it. Just saying.

If Mariusz keeps using his legs like that he will easily chop Sylvia down...Those legs kicks are the real deal...Everything else is child-like retard strong but those legs kicks could take almost anyone down...It would be fun as hell to see Brock and Pudz go at it but no doubt Brock would knock him out in less then 30 seconds as of today...

Any of the top MMA guys could run rings around Puz at the moment I'm guessing. Brock did real wrestling at a high level his whole life before WWE, so he knows more about submission than Pudz has had hot dinners. Having said this I love to see Pudz get really good and kick everyone's ass. Those kicks he lands on the guy in his first fight looked heavy as fuck! I can't help thinking any of the top guys would just get out the way ages before he could land anything though. We'll see I guess.

Are all you guys retarded or something!??! Pudz has been doing karate and boxing SINCE HE WAS 12

When will he get a tattoo of a massive penis knife on his chest like Brock?
