There are these three college kids that go to my gym to bench (never seen them do much else). One is moderately strong and the others two are twinks. The twink workouts appear to consist of putting too much weight on the bar and pulling it off each other's chests. Yesterday Twink A proclaimed he was going to do a 15-rep drop set starting with 195 lbs and removing 20 lbs each time he stops.
Starts with 195, gets zero reps. Drops to 175, zero reps. 155, still no dice. Drops to 135, bangs out a brutal four reps, and calls it a day!!! I am not sure why people insist on using weights that they have no business rolling across the floor, let alone lifting.
