I check it daily, whether on or off... Like i said the last time, LINATIL (Enalapril maleate) is a very safe and cheap BP-medication. 5-10 mg per day should do you just fine. I'm on it and have been for a long time, actually my BP has been fine for a good while so i take 5 mg just in case...

You and your doc may also consider a beta-blocker since your heart rate was 106, in my experience propranolol is best or at least suits me, i only take it when my heart rate is too high and doesn't seem to get down (very rarely), usually due to stress... 10-40 mg is a good and safe dose. The down side is that you might feel very tired on beta-blockers and much more on other ones than propral...

I felt the same way.  But since the alternative is kidney disease, blindness or having a stroke and one side of your body not working for the rest of your life, I decided the meds were probably better.

Does that medication mess with getting a hard on?(no homo) I just heard that alot of those BP meds mess with that. Mine is borderline high on or off, not super high, but like 135-140/70-80. But it never seems to go into that "perfect" range.

140/90 is the range where problems really start to increase.  Mine hovers right around there but has gone as high as 180/110 or so.  153/80 is pretty high bro.  If its only that high while you're on, you can take meds then and you can come off them when ur off the sauce.

Yeah, i have heard that too and even some docs have said that it could happen, but i haven't had any issues whatsoever...

That's a good idea, if your bp is only high while ON you could just use it then and drop them when you go OFF.

My bp was around 150-160/90-100 when i started the meds, the day after it was 120/60 AFTER A SINGLE DOSE. I consider LINATIL to be a safe and cheap life-insurance and these days i can allways feel when it's just little high so i can take a little more if needed...

Trust me guys bp is nothing to mess with...

Sometimes when it's stated that HBP can cause erectile disfunction, people listen!  ;)

A BP reading of 140 over 90 or higher is considered high.
