Official Betting Thread Aldo vs Faber
« on: March 16, 2010, 05:22:47 PM »
Honestly, I expect this to be the best card of the year across all organizations.  Maybe not in terms of PPVs, but in terms of fucking awesome fights.  The only thing that could top it would be if Fedor made it to the UFC or if Mir beats Carwin and get a rubber match with Lesner.

Main Card:
Jose Aldo (16-1) vs. Urijah Faber (23-3) [featherweight title]
Ben Henderson (11-1) vs. Donald Cerrone (11-2) [lightweight title]
Mike Brown (23-5) vs. Manny Gamburyan (10-4)
Anthony Njokuani (12-2) vs. Shane Roller (7-2)
Damacio Page Scott Jorgensen (15-4) vs. Antonio Banuelos (17-5)

Preliminary Bouts:
Cub Swanson (14-3) vs. Chan Sung Jung (10-1)
Brandon Visher (13-0) vs. Tyler Toner (9-1)
Brad Pickett (18-4) vs. Demetrious Johnson (5-0)
Takeya Mizugaki (12-4-2) vs. Rani Yahya (15-5)
Mackens Semerzier (5-1) vs. Anthony Morrison (15-8)
Alex Karalexis (10-4) vs. Anthony Pettis (8-1)

Faber is a great athlete, but Aldo is the most talented MMA fighter I've ever seen.

Aldo by KO.

I honestly don't think that Faber or Gamburian are going to make it out of the first round. On paper it looks like a stacked card, but I think that the only real epic battle is going to be Cerrone and Henderson. Most of the other fights are probably going to be over quick. I just hope there are some highlight reel ko's.

Damn I sucked at these picks!  Killer card though.  Aldo is FOR REAL!  The Garcia/Jung fight was INSANE!  Freaking robbery though.
