Maybe she was paying homage to Robert Crumb's 'Devil Girl' character. :)

Almost always, yes.

No.  For the most part I think wrestling is idiotic.  There may be (gay) guys who find wrestling provocative/erotic but I am not one of them.  Remember, a real gay man is not going to be satisfied or titillated by watching wrestling.  If I want to watch something I find erotic, I can just watch a gay porn muscle video, or I can cut to the chase and go to a sex club or bath house and have real sex with virtually any guy there.  I could even place an ad on Craig’s List and have one (or a dozen) guy(s) come over and suck my dick in less than an hour.  If I’m interested in wrestling, I can join a gay wrestling club and get my jollies that way (and then hook up with a fellow in the wrestling club).  In other words, if you are gay, out, halfway attractive (and interested in doing so) there are literally endless opportunities to have sex: one on one, group sex, muscle sex, pig sex, etc.

I think the idea that a man would find pro wrestling a “turn on” is a projection of straight/bi guys who view it as one of their few chances to get aroused (even unconsciously) by another man.  It’s akin to straight guys thinking/fearing that gay men are looking at them in the shower at the gym.  I’m sure there are some guys who do that, but they are probably bi or bi curious because, again, a real gay man doesn’t have to settle for stolen glances here and there when he can go and get the real thing.

I confess I watched wrestling when I was, like, 12.  I found it entertaining and sure there were a couple guys I thought of as sexy back then.  Even now, there are some wrestlers I would probably find physically attractive, but sitting down to watch a wrestling match is not my idea of entertainment at this point in my life.  And if I’m looking to be aroused wrestling is not where I would turn; I am too accustomed to having the real thing to settle for fantasies. ::)
