Keith, it seemed like at one point you were the Prince of Hawaii. Your career in hollywood was slowly moving then what? What stopped this? What event in your life changed?
You know I think about it all the time what if I stayed in LA and not moved to Hawaii. I was meeting some great people in the industry, my good friend who is an award winning director (he also directed 14 episodes of Walker) was getting busy as hell and even offered to move me to Europe to work on the Robin Hood series and other projects and things look pretty damm good. Well then I got invited to go to Hawaii with the Special Olympics after meeting their Director in Reno at the International Winter Games. I went they put me up at the Hilton Hawaiian Village, met and hung around Charo for a few days and other celebs there and I just fell in love with Hawaii so much I decided to move there, I literally sold my cars, gave my ex a bunch of shit and left. I did not tell my agent anything. I was actually booked on Matlock and a Taco Bell commercial when I left. I got hooked up with the biggest agent in Hawaii and within a week got a commerical (video enclosed). And that is the short version. I fell in love with Hawaii and stayed.
