Like most you, I've watched many movies and documentaries about prison life and one of the most fascinating aspect is sexuality.
You have a bunch of "macho" men secluded from the outside world, they are supposed to be the epitome of bad. In many cases these men will be locked up for decades to life.
Obviously there will be people already gay in prison. But when does a man say "fuck it I'm gonna be in here for 20 or more years, I might as well like guys". Obviously it doesn't happen to everyone but it happens to alot. Were these guys always gay? Is the yearning for human connection so great the mind makes adjustments to compensate for lack of women these men "turn gay"?

In many cases these men continue being gay when they are released or bisexual. The same thing happens to the women. I've always wondered how far must a straight man be pushed to go gay cause he's given up hope. Even the "tough" ones that rape....still gay.

I don't expect any of you geniuses to have an answer and know none of you will including the gay ones...Please don't embarrass yourselves with pathetic one-liners.

I never been to prison, be i heard jacking off is a sign of weakness. Also guys that are in for 5 years or more are more likely to rape/get raped.

I once read a story on a gambling forum about a guy who spent a year in prison, he discussed so many details, was one of the better looks at the system, I wish I could find it and post it here!

more and more proof that we are actually monkey's, not human. We are animals.

Everything we do and everything we don't do revolves around pussy in SOME WAY just like it's the duty of women to look good for us men basicly... we can think alot and we can be very spiritual, in the end, it's denying our true nature, our beast nature, we are animals and that's all there is to it.

On the top of that we are nothing but fragile skin with lots of nerv's... we are bound to be sexual, in everything. Women too, ESPECIALLY women... but men are the subjects and women are the objects.

Still, I don't know... wigg's may be right... I can only imagine what they do in women's prison

it's all about perspective..

ive noticed this phenomenon as well.
for example in grade school, first day of class you look around and first take is 'theres not really any hot girls in here'. but then as the months go by your mind begin to select the top few (the least unattractive) and these 'top' ones in that closed environment begin to become somewhat not bad in your mind and by the end of the year you want to fuck one or 2 of them

also at my old job i recall every night 3 people would close, one person at each station. these 3 people would be alone amongst themselves for several hours. and INEVITABLY, every single night, if one of the 3 was a girl, the other 2 guys would end up hanging out around the girls station, even if she was ugly. id imagine that after a few days in this situation, the 2 guys would be fighting over who gets 'posession' of the woman no matter how ugly.
its interesting how the mind will 'compensate' or even 'settle' for what is the 'best' option in a situation.
