Timmy Leong, a pioneer for Hawai'i in the sport of bodybuilding and retired owner of Timmy's Gym,pasied away May 16.He was 83.

Those pics harken back to a day when bodybuilding was an expression of health and fitness, not the drug addled freak show it is, today.

Wow very sorry to hear this.  Timmy was a great man.  he was always so nice to me.  Stuntmovie will have some stories

Timmy and Tommy Kona both treated me with respect and supported everything I did.  Timmy had a small gym upstairs off of Ward St. for a long time.  It closed down once 24 Hour Fitness came in and the market changed on Oahu.  It was like stepping back into the 60's when you went there.

Tommy Kono is a great weightlifter and bodybuilder.He visited here Taiwan 30 years ago and give me some instructions when I was 20s.
