Quite the contrary as all signs point to it being legal.

All these bleeding heart far-left liberals crack me up. 100 Pakistani Ahmadis were massacred by Muslims while they prayed last week, yet they have shed nary a tear over it. Not only that, the Muslims also attacked the hospital the victims were recovering at because they wanted to finish the job. They cry murder over 9 dead bodies but turn a blind eye to ONE HUNDRED. Then again, Muslims can do whatever they want.  ::)

haha i should rephrase you are EXACTLY like those muslims who kill the innocent.  Kind of funny really the more you blindly let hate guide you, the more you become like those you hate.

So I behave like them now? Last I checked, I'm not running around chopping heads off and parking explosives-laden cars in market places to blow up women and children while they're shopping in the morning.  ::)

This is what happens every time the islamofascists and their apologist army get pushed against the wall. You can't refute any of the points made so you start crying racism and bigotry. Nice try.

If you believe a country has a right to attack any ship in international waters then i guess you believe in the right to Somali pirates pillaging ships too?  You must have been pissed when the American government intervened to get those hostages back i mean how dare they do such a thing it was totally legal and the right of Somali citizens to board the ship just tough luck on those sailors right?

Right, because the ships the pirates attacked were trying to hurt the Somali's.  ::)

So basically your answer is no?  You're just another wannabe throwing out terms like you've got some understanding on international maritime law.  No problem, troll.

Haha yes i'm a troll  ::)  I have read legal interpretations on both sides, it's deemed legal by some, illegal by others.  It depends on whether you believe the blockade itself is legal and whether the use of force was proportionate.  Both up for interpretation, because this isn't going to a court of law anytime soon we will never have a definitive answer.

But keep thinking we do.  The legality of the boarding does not mean the actions are any less of a precedent for others to mirror their actions.

There have been Naval blockades across the globe several times. They were legal then and they are legal now. The U.S. did the same thing with Cuba during the missle crisis when JFK was in office. The legality of the blockade cannot as a matter of law be contested. There is no viable legal argument to make in opposition. The only argument being made against the blockade is typical emotional drivel with not a single shred of fact or legal support.

Hope this helps.

Guess the illegal smugglers learned their lesson from the flotilla.  The Rachel Corrie was taken without incident.
