Well I grew up in California cities. So of course I met many gay people. I had flamers as my co-workers, bosses, classmates, even professors at my colleges, etc.
When you grow up in certain cities, the gay world is just in your face and it's not hidden at all.
It's no big deal. I'm secure in my heterosexuality.
