i feel sorry for those of you who have to buy so much chicken/beef/egg whites/tuna in the hopes of making your body use that protein... You're gonna make that muscle grow, aren't you?
Joe is 5'9, 175 lbs, 12% bf. He eats 200g's protein a day. His goal is to be 190 lbs in 4 months. Well, his target date arrives and he is 190. I would say only 1 or 2 lbs of that is pure muscle, the rest is water and fat. All the while, he has been consuming chicken, steak, fish every so many hours for 4 months, mmm mmmmmmm aint that delicious, and a good investment of money and time.
Bob has the same body measurements/has same goal. He eats 120g's protein a day. 4 months pass, and he is also 190. So, is it not realistic to think he would have an equal amount of muscle gain by consuming far less chicken and tuna than Joe? The only diff in their diet is joe eats a few more pieces of animal flesh during the day, that's it.
Both have same workout routine, body types, etc. I could use multiple examples, this is just basic analysis. For all you biochemistry Ph.D's out there who want to argue, this does not require graduate or medical school. This is elementary.
Look at all these black teenage freshman college recruits/ even in high scool. You really think they follow a structured typical BB diet? BS. These guys maybe get some poptarts or mcdonalds on way to school, eat whatever cafeteria has for lunch, and maybe get a burger and grape drink on the way home. That's it. And they still have physique's that are sick. Visible abs year round, huge traps, seperated bi's/tri's, with hardly any effort, putting you tubby 215 lb, 20% bodyfat mf's reading muscle mags to shame. Matter of sheer fact.
Just to emphasize my point so those of you who are not capable of engaging in rational thought can understand, I am saying that for average natural, he can get same results from eating high complex carb diet. moderate fat (10% saturated) and moderate protein. It's really hard for you to graps this concept since it's been drilled in your head for so many years, but it's true. It makes total sense doesn't it? Next time your at the grocery store and buying 5 packs of chicken breasts, ask yourself "wtf am I doing"? Go buy some flaxseed/cottage cheese instead
