Hirono is certified special needs, so I don't count her. She may be the dumbest person in congress, and I say that knowing AOC exists.
But you are correct, it's the very definition of racism. At least democrats and other women are calling her out on this.
When Hirono was Lt. Gov. of Hawaii, someone told me that was not very bright. I had no idea because the Lt. Gov. here is typically quiet. Doesn't do or say much. Then I watched a debate between her and Linda Lingle when they were running for the Senate seat. It was like an adult debating a child. But Hirono got 62 percent of the vote, because we are a one party state; the least politically diverse state in the country. Now I've heard people from all across the country call her one of the dumbest persons in Congress. It's embarrassing.
Our country is so screwed. I never really got into the culture wars, but a lot of people better suit up or we will be overrun by these twisted social justice warriors. (I'm speaking figuratively about war and suiting up.)
