regardless to what Dana says to the media..
I'm willing to bet he will still offer a lot of money to Fedor /M-1 in order top get him in the UFC..

When he wins his rematch with Werdum....

Dana will be calling M-1 once again... ;D

The fedor appeal was that he was ranked #1 and Dana was sick of people telling him the UFC didn't have the top fighters. Unless Fedor can regain his #1 ranking, there is no more appeal to the UFC. Even if he had not lost to Werdum, Fedor was already going to lose his ranking once Carwin & Lesnar fought and established a better resume. Fedor missed the boat load of money he could have made.

i hope the carwin vs. lessnar fight is good..

if not a lot people will be discouraged / dissapointed with the UFC..
The last PPV. main events haven't been that good...

That's where Fedor comes into the picture..
Dana will need Fedor eventually..
That bad part about it is  :-\ if he will actually sign with the UFC :-\


Fedor can still make Millions without the UFC...
that's what Dana hates about it...
Fedor is one of a few fighters that can actually make a lot money outside the UFC..
that kills Dana.. because he can't control him..

Wrong again....

Fedor WILL NEVER be in the UFC. MS is right, the only appeal Fedor had was his record and seemingly invincible fighting style. Now that he has lost, he is really just another no-name to the average MMA fan.

Fedor is far overpriced, and the UFC does not need him. He also doesn't really stand a chance against the UFC's current monsters.

IMO Dana will go after Overeem. He can hang with the UFC HW's in size, plus he has an exciting style that will sell well, without the inflated price tag that Fedor has.

Fedor really has no place in the UFC, they don't need him whatsoever, and he is an overpriced no-name.

He may offer him a deal, but it will no longer have all of the ridiculous stipulations that Fedor/M1 were proposing.  Fedor has no drawing power in the US.  We know this from the weak ratings he had with StrikeForce.  If he does get a deal, it will be no bette than any other heavyweight.

i agree with what you say spin..

i think it will be impossible for M-1 to even try get the co-promotion at this point..

I can see Fedor getting a deal similar to what maybe Brock,Chuck,GSP, etc.. have as far PPV bonus / etc.. undiscloused $$ ...

The only way the UFC will have to up $$ is if this weekend main event doesn't live up to the hype..

and if Fedor wins the rematch with werdum & beats overeem after that...
then its really gonna cost Dana $$$ to get Fedor in the ufc..
