I said the same thing. If we're giving some criminals amnesty, why not give all criminals amnesty? Are illegals any different from murderers? I'm sure some of them would like another go at things.  ::)

It really is a slap in the face to the people we should be welcoming into this country, not the fucking dirtbags that climb over a fence and then suck the system dry.

you know HOW much red tape and BULLSHIT and 80 mile drives to and from our lawyer...WHY??  cause my dad bought our business in a CORPORATION name NOT his personal name...and the law states that you must buy the business in the business name...little more than 80k went to solving that problem including our actual business visas

IF this amnesty thing happens i GURANTEE YOU there r  MILLIONS OF INDIANS,PAKISTANIS,AFRICANS,EASTERN EUROPEANS,RUSSIANS SITTING POISED WITH THEIR FINGER ON THE STUDENT AND TOUIRIST VISA BUTTON....THEY'LL ARRIVE...THEY'LL DISAPPEAR...AND 2 YRS DOWN THE ROAD THEY WILL ALSO WANT AMNESTY

I do not support illegal immigration, but I don't understand comparing somebody who lives and works in the US illegally with rapists and murderers.  Explain that to me, please!

How many here have driven over the speed limit?  If you have, you broke the law.  Are you a criminal?  Are you at the level of a rapist and a murderer?

I wouldn't compare a working illegal to a rapist, but that person is still a criminal.

What I really disagree with is the notion that we have to grant amnesty because there are too many illegals to deal with.  That is the equivalent of letting criminals go because there isn't enough prison space.

Beach,
Why is a working illegal a criminal, while a US citizen driving over the speed limit is not?

I do not support amnesty.

Both are criminals, but the penalty is different due to the nature of the offense.

A working illegal is a criminal because he/she is violating federal law.  I'm actually assuming there are criminal penalties for violating immigration laws.  (?)

Speeding isn't a crime, unless you go a certain mph over the speed limit (when it becomes reckless driving, or something like that).

I see!  To answer your question:
