But bankable?  If he knocked some teeth out of his model girlfriend, he's probably not going to get much support from studios, directors, other actors, etc.

Oh, he’ll definitely get a proverbial slap on the wrist, but he won’t do any kind of serious time.

No drugs or any kind of fraud was involved.
The most they can get him for is simple assault.
Most of that recording was just him calling her names & degrading her, which is not a crime in this country…yet.
And, telling someone they deserve a bat to the head is not the same as threatening to swing it yourself.

I would presume he had her sign a pre-nup, although she will probably successfully sue him for more based on his actions as well as (I‘m sure) some concocted/embellished charges she comes up with.

At most, he may do a few days’ stint in jail with the rest of his sentence being some kind of house arrest and/or community work.
Or, his attorneys will hammer out some kind of other deal for him.
Believe me, Mel will get off light.
