I remember you and I had a conversation about this a short while ago.
I’ll always admit when I make a mistake, and concerning our discussion, I did
not have
all of the information.
Anecdotal data suggests that more than a few people have experienced favorable results with supplemental CLA.
However, there is conflicting information regarding its effectiveness &
(long term) safety.
You guys are talking about 2 different forms of CLA. The naturally occurring trans fat and the manufactured cla from plant sources.
Linoleic acid is found in vegetable oils, whereas the conjugated variety, CLA is found primarily in meat and dairy products. The form of CLA found most commonly in dietary supplements is manufactured from vegetable oils such as sunflower oil.
CLA IS a trans fat (you said that - I agree) It's naturally occurring. And it might be beneficial.
The CLA sold as a supplement is manufactured from veg oil. Useless & maybe harmful.

I remember that you’re taking a product containing a combination of other ingredients, and I’m wondering if some/all of them are working synergistically to compliment the CLA or vice versa.
Regardless, it’s good to know it’s working for you and I‘m happy you found a product that‘s providing you your desired results.
