As I am sure we are all aware, Prohormones are steroid precursors. Via certain enzymatic pathways, they convert into a target steroid... 19-nor-diol into deca, 4-diol into testosterone, etc. These prohormones were all banned.
M1T, 'tren', and the other 'prohormones' around these days are simply legal designer steroids -- they are not designed to 'convert' to anything. They are all toxic to some extent, but there are stronger ones, and there are milder ones. M1T is the most toxic designer steroid ever sold OTC -- on par with the strongest illegal oral steroids. On the other hand, 'Tren' (estra-4,9-diene-3,17-dione), prostanazol, etc. are all unmethylated and are all relatively safe...
...It's like comparing halo to primo -- they're both anabolic steroids, but one is far more powerful and toxic than the other. M1T is just too much to bother with, IMO...
