The guy who fought in the finals, Mike Barton aka Bart Gunn, actually tried MMA and did decent against a guy he outweighed by over 70 pounds.

I remember that insider connected to the big names at Gold's Venice said he was friends with Achim.  He said that before Achim was signed by the WWF, he was brought into Vince McMahon's private theater and shown gay porn and afterwards Vince came out shirtless and cover with oil.  He told Achim to feel his muscles.  Very bizarre.
