I'm watching the South Park episode. I was in a barber years ago and there was a guy with it and i didn't know at first. He didn't curse but would make funny ass sounds. Freaked me out...Funny on tv but that's gotta suck.

haha.. i was at a burger king two weeks ago waiting in line and this women took her time ordering in the line and took alot of time and this 18yr old kid in front of me kept pacing making remarks.. finally he says to her thats a big order for a lesbian... and his mom jumped in and said "im sorry my son has tourettes, im sorry he didnt mean that comment" i thought it was hilarious....

I went to grade school with a kid who had tourettes. it really started to get bad in 5th grade. I'll never forget watching a religious movie/cartoon (born and bred Catholic school girl here!) and him blurting out the comment "Mary's a Bitch! Suck it. Suck it. Suck it."
It was hysterical. I still get a laugh thinking about his outbursts

There is a classic British documentary called "John's not mad" which followed a teenage Scottish lad around who had Tourettes. I found it hilarious watching some lad twitching and shouting random insults.

Recently, however, they did a follow up documentary on his life and it shows how badly it's effected him - he wasn't able to fulfil his dream of joining the army, never had a girlfriend, no real social life etc. I've got to admit I did feel very sorry for the dude (no sensitive).

I still laughed when he shouted "suck my dick" to his mate, though.

Terrible disease - makes me wonder if it's possible to shut off some regions of the brain... maybe that would help.

Couple years ago I was at the Mirage in Vegas at a $15-$30.. I mean $100-$200 dollar Hold Em table when this guy sits down to my left. He would make random noises and was acting strange. I started noticing he would call out things under his breath when he looked at his cards like "8's!" or "2 Pair!". For awhile I was cautious because I couldn't believe the guy was actually telling me his hand but time after time if his cards were shown, it was just what he had. I even thought he was setting me up for a big pot where I banked on what he said to be true, then get killed but it never happened. Obviously he didn't last long with his $500 buy in and he left.

I remember that dumb-shit Chris Jackson who changed his name to Muhammad Rauf or some shit.....he had it and he was on the bench one night and the camera man zoomed in.....he tighed his shoes about 20 times and kept patting them and blinking.....me and my friends laughed until we couldn't breathe......he's also the same turd who refused to stand during the national anthem, if you guys remember him.

it's not nice to make fun of people with mental problems, that being said there was this kid with tourette's at a wedding i was to. i heard him cursing in the bathroom yelling shit every couple of seconds when the ceremony started at a quiet time the kid yells out fuck several times, that's an icebreaker every time.

i have known a few people with tourette's.......but none of them have screamed out any crazy bullshit...theirs was all like rapid neck jerks and clicking noises with their mouth......my one buddy ticks were so bad that he has had to have tendon reattached...

I can't remember his name but I worked with him a few times. He was a pretty well known soap actor from the 80's (of course when else). He had it and no one at home knew it cause they would only keep the camera on him for short time and give him 5 liines at the most or so. He was really good looking and popular with the women. But, when we went out to lunch one time I noticed it. He told what it was. He only twitched, he didn't yell or anything.
