Jobless claims hits 500,000

NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- In a troubling sign for the economy, the number of first-time filers for unemployment insurance rose to 500,000 last week, according to a government report released Thursday.

It was the third weekly increase in a row. There were 12,000 more claims filed last week over a revised 488,000 the previous week, the Labor Department said.

He actually owes me a huge apology this month as per our agreement.  He said give it 18 months back in February on 2009 before he would admit it was a failure and said that it would be a failure if UE was still over 8%.

Keynesian economics AKA stimulus never worked in history.  Cutting taxes and spending always has but government goon hate it cuz can't give trillions to friends on taxpayer dime.

My local liberal rag today quoted Obama's broken record "the economy is slowly coming around" lie that he tells to anyone within talking distance.
