The quick-and-dirty: This girl plans to come over last night (in her defense, I did invite her). Drives almost 3 hours to get here. I told her I'd meet her at 10. She gets here at 9:30p and is upset that I'm not home yet. I'm busy at the time and cannot rush right over, so I tell her to chill and I'll be home in about 15 minutes, which would've been like 9:45.A few minutes later, I receive a text saying it's clear she's 'not that important' to me and tells me to have a good night. I'm like, what?I get to my place at 9:45 and she's gone. Um, ok. I'm not really sweating it, though, because I needed a little down time anyway. I figured she's gone to do whatever it is people do out in the sticks late at night and will be back in 30 minutes or so. After an hour has passed, no word from her, I send a text to ask whether she's close. She then calls back (my cell doesn't ring, but receives a voice mail) and leaves a rambling, almost 4-minute message about god-knows-what. I listen to it, try to make sense of it, then text her to tell her 'texting is best' and ask whether she's coming or not.She says 'no'. Ok. Playing it cool, I tell her I'll be up another couple of hours if she changes her mind and I tell her to be safe. She says 'thanks' and that's that. I assume she's either going to get a room, stay at a friend's, or head back home. An hour later, I get a 6-page text from this crazy chick, who's obviously lost her mind at this point. She explains she's upset that I wasn't here waiting for her and says I could've at least left the door open for her to go in and use the bathroom instead of having to drive '8 miles to the nearest McDonald's'. 'All your other girls get a key and you can't even leave the door open for me? That's so disrespectful'...as if she has any clue who has access to my home. At this point, I'm thankful that she's somewhere else and not here, so after a short exchange, I sign off for the night. A couple of hours ago, I get this message: "BTW, I just want you to know I was attacked and robbed last night". The lesson? She should've done what she was fucking told. As for my part...no more inviting chicks over who haven't passed a thorough background check. When she was here last week, I had no idea she was this bad in the head, but glad I found out sooner rather than later.
