Hack who says whatever he thinks at the moment regardless of whether it contradicts his own previous statements or books, articles, etc.

He is intelligent, but completely a joke when it comes to economics.    I listen to those who correctly predicted the mess we were in well before it hit, not those with politically biased pap like Krugman who appeals to a small group of far left politically biased activists.

Unintelligent, no clue on economics-- overall a smug partisan hack that is in love with the sound of his own voice.

So because he didn't sound the alarm as loudly as others you dismiss him?  I would have thought you'd quite like him.  He disagrees with Obama on a lot of things, called out a sort of 'cult of personality' long before any conservative seemed to and doesn't think things are going the way they should.  However, he does differ in that he believes the stimulus hasn't been enough where as you believe it was a major mistake to begin with.

Can you site where he has contradicted himself?  Just curious is all.

He called for the Fed to create a housing bubble years ago and acted like he never said that.

Also - his beef with obama is that he did not spend money, not less.

Personally, i listen to people like Schiff who are clearly on record correctly saying what would happen long before Krugman ever started complaining.

He did advocate lower interest rates to promote spending on housing and consumer goods that's for sure.  But i believe he also believed in greater regulation over the housing and financial markets to try and at least stop such a large meltdown affected the economy the way it did.

You have to understand 333 everything is boom and bust.  Giving access to cheaper credit may induce more people to spend beyond their means, however with a tightly regulated industry where standards are set to who can borrow money and how much we may well have missed such a large housing meltdown.

And he was wrong.  Did Schiff ever propose blowing up the housing market like Krugman did?

Way too liberal, thinks government can spend out us into prosperity. Is he intelligent? He is a good writer has a good education. So if that's your definition of intelligence then he must be.His conclusions seem idiotic to me and to many conservatives.

Much like yourself, Krugman refuses to acknowledge that he has been completely wrong on numerous issues. He instead prefers upping the ante and dismissing those who are in fact correct as "misinformed". He agrees lockstep with everything that Obama does with the only difference being that Krugman thinks Obama's policies are NOT LIBERAL ENOUGH. He advocates bigger stimulus packages, more government control and a host of other hideous and backward economic policies. Krugman is also an insufferable hypocrite and as smug as the day is long. He is well educated, so naturally you think he is intelligent. However, as our President has clearly demonstrated, one has almost nothing to do with the other.

Your borderline retarded at best.  Krugman is and has been pretty much spot on with regards to everything economic the past decade.  He predicted the financial collapse for one and also that the stimulus sucked because it wasn't nearly big enough and on top of not being big enough it hasn't all been spent.

Yeah whatever, show me a time stamped video of Krugman even 50% as accurate as Schiff from 2002-2007
