Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in U.S.
« on: September 19, 2010, 01:07:09 PM »
Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is in NY today meeting at the U.N.

Two of the worlds worst things collide in NY today, Ahmadinejad and the U.N....I'm not sure which one I hate more but the whole thing is nothing short of BS.

People who are enemies of the U.S. should not be given a glorified platform to speak on, especially a platform in the U.S.

The U.N. I simply hate the fact that we are even a part of this joke of an organization, much less that its headquarters is in the U.S. I am strongly in favor of the U.S. leaving the U.N.

The UN is an abomination of an organization, is run by the OIC and exists for no other reason than to bleed the US dry while giving platforms to dictators, tyrants and despots.

The US should have left it years ago. It ceased to be relevant long ago. Just look at the human rights council. Pakistan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, China and more? How is it that some of the most egregious violators of human rights serve on a council for human rights. Talk about useless.

Is that its stated policy objective? They must be pretty evil over there at the UN.

It's beyond an abomination, it's an outright joke. How much does the U.S. give the U.N. each yr, what is it, $3billion, $4billion? Not sure on the exact number but it's up there.

And the U.S. debt to the U.N., what a joke, for U.N. programs that we do not wish to fund, whatever our appointed amount to fund is, when we don't pay it, it is added to a debt we owe the U.N. even though we give this horrific thing billions per yr.

Why does the US contribute more money to the UN than any other nation while getting bashed by the despots and tyrants who speak at every gathering? It's a stupid organization and is nothing more than a pointless money dump for us.

People talk high and mighty about being isolationist and yet they never say that the US needs to leave the UN to achieve that.

This. It's time for economic nationalist policies, a moratorium on all kinds of immigration, and for someone to shoot that Iranian Hitler while he's on our soil.

I was down there on my jet ski on saturday.  When I started going up the east river past the brooklyn bridge, I noticed a lot of coast guard out there and NYPD.  Then, when I got up to the UN, a coast guard cutter raced at me with the guy  in the front with the 50 cal gun pointed in my direction.

The guy raced towards me and said there was a "security event" going on and for me to ride side by side with him until he said to leave.  He got up to about 50 mps and let me off up around Hell's Kitchen area.

Had I known it was the terrorist from iran, I wish thery would have let me got whack that devil.

I wonder how many tax dollars were spent today protecting a terrorist and enemy of the United States? Protecting Ahmadinejad, giving him a platform, treating him like royalty all at the expense of U.S. dollars is no different than doing the same for Osama Bin Laden.

Far too many.   There were at least 12 small coast guard go fast boats, two large Cutters, a bunch on NYPD, etc.
