I guess I was a little naive in thinking that Europe is a glorious homeland to Europeans and to some extent that is true but when I hear things like anti-German sentiment held by the English or anti-English sentiment held by the Scottish I realize how in some cases, xenophobia is silly.
The mistake is saying that because the differences above are mostly cultural and not genetic that in
all cases, xenophobia is based on cultural factors only. This is simply not the case, as there are strong genetic differences between certain people. Where I am the White people are called evil racists and meanwhile they simply live there lives as Aboriginals cause 80% of the violent crime in the city. Yet it is the White people who are basically just minding their own business who are to blame for it.

Yes, I have Aboriginal friends but I would be lying to you if I said I felt there were no genetic differences.
Just because some xenophobia is cultural doesn't mean all xenophobia is cultural. People have told me that since a half African/half Chinese person is hard to classify as a distinct race, race therefore does not exist. That is like saying that if we mix green and pink that just because the colour produced is not easy to classify as a distinct colour, therefore colour spectrum doesn't exist.
