civilian, I have members that served with some of them.

They are very careful what thye say because my page is monitored by the DoD but I read through what thye say and it looks like its certainly not common but also not unheard of. Some soldiers in Iraq have done that for some time as well - carried around some old beat up looking AK's and planted them on dead guys if they had no weapons.

Since i am talking to vets and depoyed soldiers nearly every day i begin to understand what they go through they are always on alert when deployed and always scared of making a mistake.

This however was different looks like these guys were out to get somebody killed.

Killing Innocent civilians can not be acceptable in military standards at least not in the way the soldier described it.

Collateral damage is another thing that's some what exceptable because its war

I mean its hard to train an 18yr old to kill kill kill and expect him to shut it on  and off like a light switch, i would give the kid 5 years in prison for the murder and call it a day

The problem is the if you think you kill somebody who looked like a threat to you, you open the jacket he is wearing and you find no weapons thats when
you get scared.
Check out the other video I just posted on my page...

US Soldiers hunting down a reported possible VBIED (vehicle born IED) now if you have ever seen one of these go off - they are HUGE!!!
Look at the soldiers, they suround him tell the traffic to move on but dont shoot the driver - they even have somebody to talk to the driver in arabic to get out.
here comes the kicker- the guy doesn't come out!!!! he actually rolls the vehicle closer to the us soldiers!!!!
Now picture yourself and you are convincend the guy has a truck full of artillery shells... and he ROLLS forward... You shoot that guy!!!
however these guys did NOT shoot him, they send warning shots, get him out and he was actually innocent.
Now if they would have shoot him, it would have been all over the news - WITHOUT the part were they give him penty of chances to get out of course.
Thats what these guys are scared of.
