but i also respect people who dont like jay cutler, or wanted phil or dex to win


but to purposely root through pictures, or take a hundred screencaps to find the WORST, most unflattering photo you can find of jay cutler, and then use that photo to represent him...............thats fucking despicable, scumbag shit

this is the second time he did this in the past two days



and i would defend someone doing this with any competitor, its just a lowlife thing to do

because its dishonest to take the one super-awful picture you can find, and try to make that represent the person in his entirety

bodybuilding needs another arnold-type physique to step up and start taking over the scene.  it would help a lot.  i don't know if there will ever be another arnold though.   most of the bodybuilders today are pretty short.  arnold was 6'2...dwarfing todays competitors.  he was the reason i started lifting in the first place.  todays bbers dont inspire many.

agree with what you say but only thing is height really has nothing to do with it unless we're talking 4'11" or 7'2"
heights tween 5 7 - 6 2 is open avg fair game.
besides how many ovr 6 guys there now and cant break top 3 and 10x as many peeps under 6' are not top 3 either so... its the quality of the build that very few possess

you can make anyone look small, or shitty, or big waisted, or narrow, or fat if you pull a f@ggot move and root through every photograph for one where the guy you dont like happens to be in a bad position

thats something to take into account, even though the guys didnt have todays guts (started with Yates, Fux, Ferrigno's comeback, Nasser), there would also be situations where Arnold and contemporaries would not look as "flattering".
Thing is, there werent cell-phones with cameras and digital cameras and internet then, so it was only the carefully picked and censored, favourable photos in the mags initially.
1st guy I noticed with a bit of a gut was Momo Benaziza when he didnt keep it in check.

but the original comparison, yesteryear vs today, not very pretty waistlines.

Wow!  I was shocked listening to that.  Jay almost basically described himself as being on death's door after the prejudging.  I'm kind of surprised that he would get into so much detail to be honest.  It really puts professional bodybuilding in an unhealthy light and even though that is accurate, I find it's not something a lot of current pros really talk about.  I wonder what his stack was.

Jay Cutler: I just was so weak when I walked out I just needed to get in my car and go home and I went and got home I could barely walk from the car to my bedroom I had basically to have my friends carry me in and laid down didn't even take my clothes off and I curled up for a few hours um and just tried to suffer through what I think was heavy dehydration.
