2nd Question added.

i can make really great chili my dear friend

do this:

first cut up fresh garlic, peppers, and onions

then put the meat in the bottom of a pot ground chuck is good and really fatty.  brown the shit out of it.  Get the meat out of your pot but leave the grease and brownness.  Drop the garlic, peppers, and onion in and cook til onions are clear.  Drop the meat back in, poor in diced tomatoes, and chili beans and some good hot sauce (if you want)

also add sugar and ketchup and simmer this for a while

makes some delicious chili!

I use 4 pounds of 93% lean beef.......(I just make a shitload and freeze it).......I use two bags of "Six Gun Chili Mixin's" if not in your area the website on the bag is www.smokewoodfoods.com.  I don't use the flour packet in there for thickening though

Chop up 1 medium white onion
Chop up 1 jar of jalopeno's
Chop up 2 cans of peeled tomatoes
Add one can of chili beens
Add in one small can of tomato paste.....actually I only use 1/2-3/4

Okay, most will think this is weird, but take about 1/3 of the smaller size bags of spaghetti and snap it in 3-4 spots and then cook it up.  While that's going brown up all your beef.  When everything is done dump everything into a crockpot.  Add in the "Chili Mixin's", stir everything up.  Add in some tobasco, and Red Devil sauce to your tolerance and likeability.  Stir it all up again, and let it sit covered on high for and hour.  Taste test it for hotness.  Add mmor tasco if  you want it hotter.  If it's where u want it stir it up again, and cook on low for 2-3 hours covered.  Get some green onions, shredded cheese, and sourcream to top it off.

Everyone at my old job used to beg me to make this each time we had a food day 8)
