brazilian JiuJitsu and MMA fighter needs help cutting

I'm 29, 5'9" 250lbs and I am mainly a BJJ competitor.  I am doing well in my weightclass but I feel I could do much better dropping down to 185. 

I'm on the smooth fat side (47 inch waist) but am looking to cut down to my former lean 32-34 inch waist with visible abs.  Anyone who can point me in the right direction as far as caloric intake, macro nutrient breakdown and the like, I would be grateful.

Getting to 185 will be tough.  You'll need to be at around 200 so that you can cut water (assuming you weigh in the day before) to 185.  That means you have to go from 250 to 200...50 lbs.  Not easy, but if you take your time and do it right you should be able to get there.

* start running 5-6 days per week
* lower your carbs Monday-Thursday and bring them back up Friday-Sunday
* cut off your right leg  :P

if you are rolling bjj and still holding 250 you need to roll harder. Not to be funny guy here but at 5'9 holding 250 you probably submit yourself rolling bjj.  

what does your diet currently consist of? Seriously?

besides that...I'd recommend am cardio along with pm cardio and tons of water in between. Add weight training into your regimen also...you need muscle to help the process of what you are trying to achieve.

I'm actually known for my intensity, guard, and my ability to keep rolling.  Not to toot my own horn here, but I have tired out D1 wrestlers in great condition playing from my back.  I may be fat, but I have sick jits.

What kind of weight training would you recommend if any?  I was doing the program called "100 push-ups" as well as "20 pull-ups" for a while, that was good stuff, I would like to know what I can do as far as conditioning?  Any good routines?

I did a body fat test which says I'm carrying between 28-29% bodyfat, which is better than I thought.

I have no reason to lie, I've been doing BJJ for 4 years at an RGDA school and I'm a 4 strip blue belt.  THe D1 wrestler I tired out was going balls to the wall and I was relaxing in my guard and letting him work.  Eventually he asked for a breather, it wasn't the first time with this guy.  The whole philosophy of BJJ is exactly that, if you don't lose you'll eventually win.

I can suggest 100% what I eat when I drop (b/c it works for me and I'm around your height 5'11), but if you don't realize your diet is SH*T....it won't matter (when I put on BF and weight it's because my diet is WAAAAY T/F OFF)...so what do you eat daily..and don't lie bitch.  ;D you not 250 eating broccoli and chicken daily, so let's keep it real in this forum.

It's hard to take you seriously with how ignorant you're coming across.  Most of the people I know that have been training long enough to get belted in BJJ train with people that would know the answer to questions like this, or they would have enough sense to advise what you should do exactly as far as weight classes and such go.  Since you are looking to cut so much weight (were talking 50 lbs of flesh that would have to come off of your body to be in the realm of reaching your goal) one could just assume you are doing something wrong somewhere down the line.  I would suggest laying off lifting weights if you do lift, and upping cardio activities (other than BJJ), and lay off the sauce breh.

No secret really less calories in more calories expended. So cleaner diet and more cardio, is what I'd advise. I agree with the cutting down on strength training  and go more the endurance, route with your training. Clean diet is no unnecessary salt sugar or fat.
